The Center for Immunology would like to congratulate Dave Masopust as he is honored with the highest recognition of excellence in health research by AHC faculty and becomes a member of the Academies for Excellence.
The AHC Academy for Excellence in Health Research is given to members of the University community that have enhanced the research identity of the University of Minnesota on a national and international level. Dave joins over 42 other faculty members from across the AHC who have been inducted into the Academy since 2003. To see the full list of past inductees, click here.
Each year the AHC seeks to identify the most distinguished scientists, educators, and clinicians within our ranks to join the Academies for Excellence. Toward this goal, AHC has invited AHC faculty or faculty emeritus to nominate faculty colleagues for competitive election to The Academy for Excellence in Health Research, The Academy for Excellence in the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning, The Academy for Excellence in Health Care Practice and the AHC Award for Team Science.
All recipients will receive lifetime membership in the Academies, while recipients of the Health Research; Scholarship of Teaching and Learning; and Health Care Practice awards will also receive a $10,000 award. This money may be used as an augmentation to their salary or to support their teaching or research activities.
